The clips that have surfaced range widely, from gameplay featuring Jason riding a motorcycle on the beach in Vice City to a prologue scene featuring Lucia, the second main character in GTA 6.
People have had mixed reactions to the clips. Some say the game is a combination of GTA 5 and the realism of Red Dead Redemption 2, while others claim the graphics aren’t as good as shown in the trailer.

Rockstar Games’ Responses To Leaks

Things came to a point where Rockstar Games released a statement on August 26, 2026. They stated that this situation was truly “heartbreaking” for its team. Rockstar Games also apologized for delaying the official update for the most anticipated game of 2026.
However, despite attempts to stop the Cyberleek, new clips continued to surface and spread on social media. The leaker is said to be on the fans’ side. They said that they carry out this act as a form of protest against Rockstar Games’ anti-consumer practices by not releasing a disc version of GTA 6.
Meanwhile, the “extended look” at GTA 6 is expected to be published after the announcement from Rockstar Games earlier today. GTA 6 is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox consoles on November 19, 2026. This game is likely to be one of the biggest video game launches of the decade. Consider that GTA 5, released in 2013, sold over 200 million copies, just imagine how many copies GTA 6 will sell in 2026!
